can travel by air directly to Nottingham (Nottingham
East Midlands Airport). The airport is approximately 12 miles from
the University Park Campus (See below for information on traveling from

can be reached by train
from any city in the UK. By Coach You can take the National Express coaches to Nottingham from most UK cities and many Airports, the take the Bus (see below). By Car From M1 Motorway: Leave the M1 motorway at Junction 25 to join the A52 to Nottingham. Turn right at The Priory roundabout (about 4 miles from M1), then left at next roundabout to enter the University's West Entrance. From Nottingham City Centre (approximately 3 miles): By Bus: From the railway station, the Nottingham City Transport service number 12 from the railway station is the most frequent service to University Park during both daytime and evenings. The journey to the campus takes about 15 minutes. It goes through the campus. Other services pass near or through the campus and can be picked up from stops near the Market Square in the City Centre. By Taxi: There are taxi ranks throughout the City Centre and immediately adjacent to the main railway and bus stations. The journey to the campus takes about 15 minutes From East Midlands Airport (approximately 10 miles): From East Midlands Airport you can take Trent and Barton bus Rainbow 5 (see timetable). It is not the fastest but it does stop at the university gates on University Boulevard. Another option would be to take the Skylink bus which goes directly to Nottingham city centre (4am to 11pm) and then get a taxi to the campus. You can also walk to the taxi rank on the terminal forecourt and take a direct taxi to the University. The cost of a single/one way journey is approximately £20. Taxis are normally available 24 hours.
